Business Opportunity: Koljern - hurricane, wind and fire resistant houses!

The Swedish inventor Åke Mård, has invented a waterproof house that also is hurricane safe and resistant to fire. The systemn is called "Koljern". Koljern-constructed houses are made of recirculated glass. They are not more expensive than conventional houses.

The construction material is recirculated glass mixed with coal, called "foamglass". This material replaces wood, concrete and other types of building materials. The foamglass is very durable and cannot be damaged by water or fluids. It can resist large winds and hurricanes. It is resistant to solvents, acids, gasoline, diesel, oil, etc. It is also fireproof. A foamglass house life expectany is longer than a conventional house. Even floating houses can be built.

The foamglass material insulates in a unique way against both cold an heat. In the northern part of Sweden central heating is unnecessary and in the southern part of the United States air conditioning is unnecessary in Koljern-houses.

Koljern-houses externally appear as ordinary houses, since panels made of wood, concrete or other materials are applicated above the foamglass material.

A Koljern house is currently constructed in the city of Sundsvall, Sweden. Pictures from the construction are continuously published at the Koljern website.

The Koljern system has a world wide patent.

The inventor and patent owner is looking for a joint venture in the United States. If you are interested, please contact our Swedish Liaison, Per-Erik Persson at pep@sacc-scus.org and you will be contacted.
