Hannah Holgersson, a soprano singer from Sweden, recently made her first visit to Mississippi. SACC South Central hosted a CD Release party for Hannah at Alexander's Restaurant in Madison. There, she performed songs from her new album Free Voc which was released in Sweden in April.
Hannah was accompanied by two other Swedish singers: Beatrice and Anorah. All three singers performed at the Mississippi Governor's Grammys on May 29th. At the Grammy performance, Hannah sang Caro Come as a tribute to Mississippi native and Grammy winner Leontyne Price.
