Business Opportunity: CompactStoring - a revolutionary system for storing and management of metal sheets

"CompactStoring" is a revolutionary system for storing of metal sheets and management of metal sheet storage.

With this new system, metal sheets are stored horizontal and not vertical. The sheets are stacked on each other. This means that significant space is saved in a warehouse.

A chip is attached to each sheet. This chip contain all relevant information about the sheet: size, weight, quality, area of use, etc, etc. A computer system identifies every sheet. The program also knows exactly when a sheet is needed in the production cycle an to which work station and machine it should be delivered. The computer program instructs a pneumatic lift to place the next needed sheet on the top of the stack. The next needed sheet is always placed on the top and is without delay delivered to the correct work station. If 22 sheets are needed during a day, the system will place these 22 sheets in relevant order.

The computer program can be instructed to work during nighttime and place all sheets in correct order before the next production day. No labor force is needed for this operation.

The system can handle all kinds of metal sheets independent of size and weight.

The CompactStoring system can also be used in parking garages. Instead of sheets the system can identify automobiles; deliver them to a parking lot and back to the terminal and the driver. This system can be managed via an ordinary cell phone and the ordinary GPS system.

The CompactStoring system is commercialized in Sweden.

The CompactStoring system is patented both in the United States and Europe. The patent covers both the computer program and the lift construction/system.

The Swedish inventor and patent owner is looking for a U.S. licencee or other type of business partner. If you are interested, please contact our Swedish Liaison, Per-Erik Persson at pep@sacc-scus.org and you will be contacted.
